PPI Academy
PPI Educational Initiative
Passive Plus (PPI) believes it is critical to support the schools that are training our future engineers. These educational institutions, where up-and-coming engineers receive their initial instruction and introduction to the world of electrical technology, play a huge part in the next generation of the planet. Think about it: Engineers are involved in nearly every aspect of human life – the internet, cell phones, medical testing, transportation, utilities, household appliances, construction, national defense, and more. With this in mind, PPI has created our Educational Initiative to assist students and professors by becoming an academic resource for this community.
We begin by offering design kits and samples for design engineers who need to incorporate High-Q Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors into their school and research projects. This gets them familiar with the vast selection of different capacitors PPI has to offer. By physically testing our components in their projects, engineers can learn which ones work best for their requirements.
We offer our entire line of Broadband Capacitors on sample sheets that, along with the parts, include graphs that specify their electrical performance. Again, this will give engineers the focused data that allows them to determine which capacitor to incorporate into their project.
PPI Academy has been established in order to provide assistance and guidance to engineers.
PPI Academy
PPI Academy is a website engineering resource that expands our Educational Initiative. This portion of our website was developed for those engineers looking for information and guidance. From elementary topics like “Glossary of Terms” and “Frequently Asked Questions,” to more specific technical documents, videos, and presentations, the PPI Academy site has been built with the new engineer in mind.
Our Engineering Team
The Academy is proud to have a highly skilled, experienced RF Engineering team that is available to discuss technical questions and make PPI product recommendations that help new engineers choose the correct value, dielectric, or and case size that best fits in suits their applications.
