Passive Plus now offers a comprehensive range of High-Q Variable capacitors including Air Tubular, Sapphire, PTFE, and Air Plate trimmers. Also known as a Trimmer Capacitor, these are designed for fine adjustments or calibration in RF Circuits providing the ability to vary capacitance, allowing precise tuning and optimization of electronic circuits in LC filters, radio transmitters & receivers, quartz oscillators, low noise amplifiers, and NMR coil systems. 

Variable Capacitor lines also include Film Trim and 3mm capacitors. 

Film Trim capacitors, available in 4 series sizes for antennas, transmitters, RF and Test equipment, are offered in PTFE (standard or High Temperature), Polyimide, Polypropylene, or Polycarbonate dielectrics with a wide range of modifications & variations (such as capacitance ranges, terminal sizes & shapes, or extended shafts). PPI 3mm trimmer capacitors, for NMR/MRI applications/pre-amplifiers, commercial instrumentation, RFID, and tunable filter circuits, are available in 3 series. Capacitance ranges vary at 1.5pF to 40pF, depending on the series. These half-turn adjustment capacitors have a working voltage of 100-350V (depending on series) and are RoHS Compliant.
